I am a designer and programmer attending the British Columbia Institute of Technology, earning my diploma in Computer Systems Technology. I am in the Web & Mobile option, focusing my studies on websites, web apps, and mobile apps on both Android and iOS platforms. I will be graduating in the spring of 2015.
I received my Bachelor of Arts from the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at SFU in 2010. I focused my studies on technology, video games and human-computer interaction, though I also had experience working on websites, film, 3D animations, narratives, and other interactive systems.
I have a great deal of experience working on large projects as part of interdisciplinary teams. As a result, I am able to communicate and work well with individuals from varied backgrounds and areas of expertise. I easily visualize and plan for both long-term and short-term tasks.
I am passionate about nutrition and yoga, and I took a 200-hour teacher training intensive course in the summer of 2011 to deepen my practice and understanding. I also enjoy writing songs on the guitar, piano, and other instruments.
